Article page spread DJ started in the 1940’s when jimmy Saville threw a party, who, played Jazz records for his gusts at the party. Later, he became the first person to use turntables to playmusic continuously. After a party in the 1950’s, One person said, ‘ It makes the party more enjoyable and people are not as focussed on the music but more with the dancing and socializing. This Revolutionised the way people listen to music at parties. In the 1950’s and 60’s people would be hired to DJ at parties and Promoters would call themselves DJ’S. All throughout the United States hook up stations were being installed for parties and thus began the disco age of the decades. This took the role of a DJ far and made the thought of having a DJ at a party a luxury and that then led to the task of being a DJ, an art.
