For these Photos a couple of guys and I went down the road by the college to get an outdoor shoot. I found that it was difficult to get good images because of the conditions and my models. The shot of the soundboard i will use in my double page spread and the medium close-up of the two models would be my cover photo. I feel that the one on the right on the last photo here fit into David Gauntlett's theory who said in 2002 that men are seen in popular media as the extra strong macho man. However the one on the left of the last photo could break this theory and not follow it as closely as the one on the right because of his clothing and direct address to the reader.

Who is going to publish my magazine? My magazine will be published by bauer magazine publishers. This is because they have a massive range of magazines that they have published, like the film magazine, Empire. I have also chosen them because they have a lot of arms that reach to other magazines which will make my magazine quite popular. Mood Board ...

Typography Analysis.

The Title of my Magazine needs to be original and cool yet it must fit into the genre conventions of the dance/club sub-genre. So I got thinking and what do you see at clubs? dj's but the two letters D and J are to shot to be my mast head so i lengthened one ... D-Jay. D-Jay is a good name because there is no magazine named that out there. Furthermore, the play on the word/letter of J is rememberable. For the typography of this title, I want to incorporate the 'loudness' of the word d-jay so i need something loud that catches the attention of my target audience. This can be big and bold and colourful all at the same time. Something like this to the right. This font can be found on da-font under the name of E-square.   It is a San Serif font that is bold and can be easily read. When it goes onto my magazine, However I will change the colour to something that stays in the conventions f the sub-genre but is bright and 'noisy' in the Target audience's eyes...

An Array of fonts.
